Neath Hill Care Home
At the time of our inspection 27 people were using the service. This provider is required to have a registered manager to oversee the delivery of regulated activities at this location. A registered manager is a person who has registered with the Care Quality Commission to manage the service. Registered managers and providers are legally responsible for how the service is run, for the quality and safety of the care provided and compliance with regulations.
Residents at Tickford Abbey enjoy the no-nonsense home cooked food that the generation has always sworn by. Traditional food that the residents recognise and have eaten and cooked all their lives is on the menu with enough variety and choice to satisfy everyone. As with everything else in the home, resident feedback is essential to the menu planning ensuring that they are satisfied every day. Tickford Abbey is rated good, based on the level of care and safety at the home. We looked at infection prevention and control measures under the Safe key question. We look at this in all care home inspections even if no concerns or risks have been identified. This is to provide assurance that the service can respond to COVID-19 and other infection outbreaks effectively. We spoke with three people using the service and a family member. We spoke with the registered manager, a member of care staff and two visiting professionals.
